- Ahmarnya Price is a visual artist and theatre maker currently living and working in Melbourne, Australia. Interested in the way we make sense and non-sense out of the constant flow of information, her work aims to playfully interpret the complexities of the human experience and translate that experience into both meaningful and absurd pictorial and theatrical moments. Since 1997 Ahmarnya has exhibited regularly and performed in artist run spaces and participated in solo and group exhibitions/shows throughout Melbourne, Queensland, New Zealand, Edinburgh, Japan, Russia and the Czech Republic. Currently Ahmarnya is working with Back to Back Theatre and as artistic director of The Chaotic Order – an inter-disciplinary performance ensemble housed at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
